And also (also) -- the frustrating thing with MoRu is that she would log on, and would post in public, but would NEVER reply to PMs. Felt so rude This. So much. Even I felt this and I was only with her in the same tribe for like 4 days T-X has my vote to lose but even then I'd probably lean towards the third person instead of MR because to me strategy never trumps social so I seriously don't care even if she played a flawless game where she gets to sit with the exact people she wanted to sit with at FTC.

I guess I am leaning Selene a little because I was closer with her, but I wanna be as impartial as possible here and so I'm going to try to evaluate each game equally come the FTC. Honestly screw impartiality I feel like in open ID it's more of an issue to vote based on merit instead of simply because they're your friends because them being your friends might have nothing to do with the game in question. But in closed ID I don't think anyone should have any qualms about voting based on closeness since social game is very much what this game is about. That being said though, obviously everyone deserves a fair evaluation of their games and a chance to earn my vote. But when I say they need to work for it, they really need to do just that for me to overlook the fact that as far as I was concerned their social game absolutely sucked.

So you value someone with a social game but no strategy game over someone with a strategy game but no social?

It was prob T-X getting those shitty times. Don't edit posts CLAIRE. I screwed up the second challenge (which is why we would've lost even with Beatrix) but tbh I think even had I just stuck with my first time, Beatrix would've needed to do it pretty close to Rita's time for us to win so I guess it was more or less a collective effort (or lack of) in that challenge as well... I really suck at having to count something where it is difficult to confirm which parts you have already counted and which parts you haven't Not trying to make up excuses since I clearly blew it but as much as it hurts to say, as a tribe we made some rather questionable decisions along the way.

I think everyone votes based on their own strength. Social players value social skills, strategist value strategic play and challenge whores value challenge performance. But wr all appreciate a little of all three in varying degrees. Having said that, I think social players actually often award negative points for challenge skills.
I consider myself a strategic player, but I'm not sure everyone else would see me that way. I'm completely unemotional in my game connections and decisions despite genuine bonds that form socially. Emotional players give me a headache lol. But I still don't feel gamebotty. I mean I felt genuine green love and would never have stabbed any of our bitches.
In loving memory of Cameron got past 30 pages I think :')

So you value someone with a social game but no strategy game over someone with a strategy game but no social? I think saying someone makes it to FTC with no strategy whatsoever is pretty much an oxymoron since how good someone's strategy is actually almost impossible to evaluate based on any other criteria than them making it to the end (=If you make it to the end, you must've done something right), whereas social game is easy to judge subjectively (because make no mistake: Even the goodness of someone's strategic game is more often than not based solely on your subjective experience on what is good strategy). IF it is clear to me that someone makes it there with no clue whatsoever of what's going on, it doesn't matter to me how close I was with them, I wouldn't vote for that person. But tbh I have never seen someone that clueless. Besides if they really were that clueless I probably wouldn't be that close with them to begin with since I can't stand idiocy So I really feel like that's not a decision I'm likely ever to face.

Cameron gets it If you can get to the end with lots of people liking you then you've done something right.

I'm the same as Jess, I don't get overly emotionally attached to people, there's usually one or two bitches who are my ride or dies but there's just something about the green experience that made us all stick together and get all gushy.

I love getting a glimpses into Cameron 's brain. I hope you're not being sarcastic because I really do like sharing my thought process on things (sometimes in an excruciatingly longwinded manner ). But it doesn't mean I'd necessarily be more or less right. As far as survivor though, I don't think there is such a thing as a universal, objectively better way to play the game. Therefore it always comes down to whatever criteria each individual on any given game chooses to apply. That's why it frustrates me to no end when people say so and so "deserved to win because they clearly played the best game". Says who? If they lose they deserved to lose and it should be the end of discussion.

No, I'm not being sarcastic at all, geez. I genuinely ask these questions because I want to understand where everyone is coming from. I'm not a full-time bitch.
